Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a Danish writer. Although he wrote many plays, novels, and poems, he is most famous for his fairy tales, such as The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Princess and the Pea.
Even though he was a writer, he had strong opinions about the other arts.
